Breadboard Kit

The solderless one. Parts push into the board and pull back out, so nothing is permanent and nothing can be soldered wrong. It is the kit to start with if you have never built a circuit before, and it is the one you keep: when a build is finished you take it apart and use the same board for the next one.

Every part is brand new. That is the opposite of the rest of this shop, and it is deliberate. A kit is no good to anyone if it turns up carrying somebody else's bent legs.

A clear hinged plastic case lying closed and seen from above, packed with a full-size white solderless breadboard, a small green power module with a USB-C socket and pin headers, a black and yellow nine-volt battery, a battery snap on red and black leads, and a few jumper cables coiled along one edge.
What arrives, in the case it arrives in.
The same case open at an angle with the lid standing up behind it. The breadboard fills most of the base, the green power module is clipped into one end, the nine-volt battery lies beside it and coiled jumper wires are tucked along the bottom edge.
The lid closes on all of it, so a half-finished build travels.

What is in each one

Breadboard kit, no components. The reusable half, and the part you only buy once:

  • 4 extra jumper cables

Breadboard kit with components. Everything above, plus:

  • the bagged component set for the build you pick

Component kit, no breadboard. For when you already have a board:

One thing worth knowing before you pick: the Super Simple Oscillator wants 12V to 18V rather than 9V, so it needs a supply the other builds do not. Ask and I will sort it out with you.
